High tide at Rutland Church

It happened so quickly that by the time I had stopped my bicycle and prepared my camera the intitial golden fringes to the clouds had developed into this flare.

Freezing fog.

 

It may not look to be the case but that band of fog across the lane is very dense and cold at minus three degrees centigrade.

Solar Electricity?

 

Is this what they mean when they talk about solar power?

Dawn on the walnut tree.

 

 

 

 

Actually it is one of seven walnut trees which I have discovered on my cycle ride. Unfortunately, none of them has ever produced any edible harvest
but I will keep looking.

Is this the End of the World?

Well, I continued cycling and did not fall off the edge so, probably not.

Not much warmer.

  

 

It may look warmer but the temperature only rose about four degrees even when the sun had risen.
